'HEADING INTO TOWN' BY PATRICK O'REILLY
SITED AT THE TOP OF GRAFTON ST. FROM AUGUST TO NOVEMBER 2006
The Solomon Gallery in association with the Dublin City Council installed a new sculpture at the top of Grafton Street earlier this month. This sculpture is entitled 'Heading into Town' and is a two-and -a-half metre bronze teddy bear by internationally acclaimed sculptor, Patrick O'Reilly.
This sculpture will be in situ until the end of November 2006.
Patrick O'Reilly exhibits here at the Solomon Gallery in Dublin, the Mayor Gallery in London, Galerie Kyra Maralt in Berlin and Galerie Piltzer in Paris. He has received may high profile commissions including street sculptures such as the Boundary Kings on Thomas Street and the Bird on O'Connell Street in Dublin.
